Are you and experienced Applications Team Lead? I have an excellent position that has just become available for an Applications team lead to lead a team to deliver a service that will provide the stable and efficient operation of COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) Applications and Developer services. Ensure Business as Usual (BAU) through a high-quality incident management service in line with the SLA (Services Level Agreements) whilst providing a positive experience to the Council and deliver significant and complex technical work on IT applications in support of operational requirements as well as the implementation of new projects and technologies through the utilisation of skills in the team. Starting ASAP, Paying up to £54,000 per annum. Role Responsibilities: Responsible for the provision of services ensuring all activities meet the business needs whilst providing a positive experience for all users Performing duties in accordance with the ITIL framework. Provide the escalation point for incidents, changes, and projects Delivery of services provided in accordance with performance requirements and in line with resolution times against Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) and Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Responsible to monitor application performance per service level agreements Responsible for ensuring alignment to Council's IT governance processes within the ITIL framework, leveraging functions supported by the service management tool. Keeping up to date with, and identifying opportunities to optimise policies, processes, standing orders, financial regulations, and other requirements. Maintaining current knowledge of all relevant developments in respect of your area of responsibility and use this information in the delivery of your role. Ensuring personal compliance with and adherence to Equality and Diversity policies and procedures Ensure compliance with and actively promote Health & Safety at work legislation, Organisational H&S policies, and procedures Ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (all employees of the Company will not disclose or make use of, for their private advantage, any information held on manual or computer records, which are not available to the public, however acquired) Continuing self-development and participating in training and development activities Actively support the resolution of critical and major incidents across your area affecting clients, to ensure minimum disruption to the client Design and delivery of initiatives, and participation in working groups and project teams in support of council priorities.
