Bid Manager United Kingdom Remote first - Hybrid Working Requirements You + The Challenge You're the kind of individual that is skilled in planning, developing and submitting a variety of commercial documents, including complex tender responses, proposals, and pitch presentations. You're able to independently manage your assigned bids while working with a broad range of internal stakeholders, technical Subject Matter Experts and external delivery partners. You excel in day-to-day bid development and management tasks, ensuring high-quality and compliance of all tender responses and rigorous maintenance of the bid content library. Your analytical, bid/project management and organisational skills allow you to understand the clients requirements and incorporate them into high-quality, professionally written proposals articulating well the company's value proposition, proposed services, experience, and delivery methodology. Together, as part of a team of 3, you will work closely with the Head of Bid Management as well as the wider commercial team.. Key result areas for you to succeed at: You're able to ensure all bids are compliant with the client's requirements and submitted on time You're able to rewrite technical documents and content into accessible language for various levels of audience e.g., IT managers and non-technical roles alike You'll contribute to developing and improving bid responses, proposal templates, internal bid life cycle processes and pre-written reusable content You'll complete APMP Training (company-sponsored) within 12 months (following successful completion of a probation period) You're an experienced individual, either in bid management, bid coordinator or similar. Although experience in the IT Service industry is not essential, with this background, you'll step into the role and hit the ground running. You're advanced in working with Microsoft Office Apps and might have a flair for design and aesthetic appeal. You possess the understanding of and ability to describe core tenets of Information Technology, this incl. software development, cloud computing, Microsoft 365, Azure, etc. You're great at networking and engagement - this means articulation and command of the English language (written and verbal) as well as being able to work within a dynamic, deadline-driven commercial sales environment is high on your list of capabilities. With your knowledge, general interest in technology and understanding of current trends in the B2B space, you'll be trusted to do what you need to do and be part of a team that supports you.
