Bid Manager Salary - Up to £49,000 per annum, depending on experience Location- Sharston Green Business Park, Robeson Way, Manchester, M22 4SW Hours - Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Hybrid working is available) KDC is a subsidiary of Veolia and a leading multi-disciplined contractor, focusing primarily in decommissioning, demolition and environmental services specialising in delivering safe 'end of asset life' and land remediation solutions for our customers working across the UK and Europe. We are currently looking to expand our team and have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Manager to join our Bid and Proposals Team on a permanent basis, to manage the process of securing new projects/contracts in line with annual budget expectations. What you'll do Manage the bid team resources and tender proposal responses, ensuring all aspects are considered and addressed. Schedule customer expectation management, internal reviews and governance process. Draf, check and approve tender submissions and governance papers, post tender requirements including PTQ's and presentations - ensuring tracking of tender responses/results. Work with the bid/sales lead to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling, as well as contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation. Monitor and report on overall performance against KPIs, ensuring all timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while setting realistic deadlines. Coordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission, driving continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customers. The experience you will need Previous experience in successfully achieving deadlines, with the ability to work using your own initiative and leading a team. Computer literate, with strong written English language skills. Legal and commercial experience would be advantageous as would decommissioning knowledge, but not essential.
