Our client, with some of the most iconic venues worldwide in the entertainment sector is seeking an forward thinking Head of Finance, to provide exceptional leadership in managing the Groups finance department and maintain quality, management and operations across the attraction.

The Head of Finance is a pivotal role in developing the business as it inevitably grows with the exponentially expanding portfolio of new productions and international opportunities.

This is an extremely exciting role for Qualified Accountant to join the company and be a key part of the company's future growth and achievement. Working in conjunction with the Head of Content and CEO, the Head of Finance will be empowered to significantly contribute to further personal and company success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and report on the financial performance of both the existing businesses as well as the projects in New Business Development (NBD).
  • Develop, maintain and improve financial procedures and governance to provide ongoing visibility to the business' profitability and to ensure robust financial controls are in place, for a secure financial future.
  • Work strategically and focus on the larger financial business needs for the Group whilst confidently handling the multi-faceted functions of the business; executing in a timely, accurate and reliable manner, leading, delegating and managing the workload for themselves and the team to deliver the key finance functions: Annual Accounts preparation, monthly Management and Project reporting, weekly flash reporting, compliance, Cashflow forecasting, ROI models.


  • Work with our producers on establishing and managing royalties, pools, recoupments, investments and distributions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on finance and business development matters.
  • Provide commercial awareness of activities within the arts and entertainment sector, support & develop new financial models.
  • Prepare updates on Financial Quarters for Board Members and circulate in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings to contribute/lead on financial matters.
  • Prepare Risk Assessments on key quarterly finance results and affect change accordingly.
  • Work with the Director of Content to analyse and develop narrative around business growth, trajectory and market share as part of regular reporting to Directors.
  • Produce financial information for business plans and proposals as part of evaluating new business opportunities and advise the Board accordingly.
  • Produce ongoing budget and cashflow updates as part of new businesses going live to facilitate drawdowns and ensure new openings launch as agreed with Investors.


? Set targets and deliverables for the Finance Team? Ensure Team have clear reviewed job descriptions that are regularly reviewed in light of a growing company's needs.? To attend Company events, previews, press nights and performances as required.? Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, investors and stakeholders in particular the banks and HMRC, payment providers and other professionals.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA
  • From Hospitality / Entertainment or Retail background - a B2C environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous Management experience - or looking to step up into a managerial role
