The role


In this role, your primary focus will be to support the Marketing Category teams by assisting the Brand Manager, and other Marketing leaders in the daily operations of running the business. You will assist in the execution of new product innovation/renovation, promotions and consumer communication, consumer research, and tracking of competitive activity. This position is located at our Secaucus, NJ office.

Your Responsibilities


  • Facilitate the complex cross functional Item Set Up process for the Marketing Team. Track progress and communicates with the cross functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and accurately.
  • Track, proof and route artwork for new innovation, product improvements, website upgrades or refreshes through the internal Legal/Regulatory approval process to meet project deadlines. Ensure all artwork changes by the Brand Manager or the Legal/Regulatory Teams are reflected in a timely manner.
  • Attend weekly cross functional team meeting, take notes, issue minutes and follow up with actions of cross functional team members in support of the Brand Manager's directives.
  • Support ecommerce activities as an active member of the team to ensure the categories they represent are maintained current, well organized and relevant. Support the Brand Manager to provide direction for updates and changes to and track and report on ecommerce activity.
  • Initiate, track and proactively manage the product development process with forms from initiation through final approval in a timely manner (New product code requests, item set up, development requests, creative work requests).
  • Collect competitive product information, track and summarize competitive activity and product specs/pricing/claims etc. as requested by Brand Manager.
  • Assist in execution of consumer research and tallying or summarizing of results to facilitate analysis by the Brand Manager.
  • Create and process purchase orders.
  • Support the development and execution of consumer, trade promotion, sales materials and product mock ups - including photos, videos, demos.
  • Provide support for trade shows and sales meetings by assisting in the execution of sales and promotional materials and product for show booths and to support sales presentations.
  • Maintain product display room.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
. Requirements:

You will have


  • High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years administrative support experience in a Marketing department, CPG experience is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and work under minimal supervision
