This is a Medical Writer vacancy for an experienced scientific writer who is passionate about digital content and engagement. Joining a highly motivated and vibrant team, this position will be home-based in the UK with meet-ups every fortnight in the London office (or more if desirable). There will be some international travel to conferences and the culture is fun, energetic and with a strong passion for science. Unlike many agencies, our client doesn't work crazy hours for industry clients. The company The company is one of the leading specialists in the digital publication of independent open access medical news and they produce different digital media content for important international clients (online video journals, online education) in various fields such as: neurology and dementia, hematology, oncology and regenerative medicine. The company is undergoing a significant period of growth and need extra support to continue to expand its international activity. The role The successful candidate will be helping to maintain the grow of the company and will work directly with the Senior Medical Writer, Scientific Lead, and the publishing team to develop online content. Tasks and responsibilities Research and produce high-quality content under the supervision of the Senior Medical Writer or the Scientific Lead. Research and produce digital content including education via social media, videos, debates, podcasts, interviews and online article. Ensure the scientific balance and the relevance of journal content Understand the strategic communication of each journal Grow personal knowledges in the disease areas mentioned in the journals and make sure to be aware of the last news Ensure project delivery on time and brief the internal team Maintain excellent written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Participate to international conferences. The candidate Experienced in medical writing, digital publishing, and medical communication. Expertise in delivery of CME accredited online courses. Expertise in neurology or neuroscience (preferably) or haematological oncology, oncology, neurology, immunology, inflammation, or regenerative medicine (preferable). Life sciences degree - BSc/MSc/PhD or equivalent qualifications considered Experienced in team management (preferable) Working knowledge of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) and Good Publishing Practice guidelines (GPP3) Experienced with world-leading key opinion leaders Journalistic or interviewing experience and/or in social media education (preferable) Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability organize and manage multiple projects Salary & Benefits Approximately £35'000 pa but this may rise depending upon experience 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays Company pension Healthcare Welcoming, fun and enthusiastic team with a positive culture and love of communicating scientific and medical developments in a fun and engaging way To be considered for this opportunity, please apply now and follow Wentworth Life Sciences on LinkedIn and social platforms for future opportunities. >
