Product Manager - Escorted Tours and Cruises

Base Salary £35,000 + Bonus and Benefits

Hybrid - Part Remote and Part Office

My client is an award-winning specialist tour operator who specialise in escorted tours and cruises for discerning clients to worldwide destinations.

Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for a Product Manager with a particular focus on Asia, Europe, and Africa.

The Product Manager will be responsible for creating, launching, and managing a range of products which showcases the clients brand values, quality, customer service and reliability.

The Product Manage will also manage commercial relationships with overseas suppliers, taking complete responsibility for the internal and external delivery the product.

To be considered, candidates must have previous product experience. Candidates who are Senior Product Executives and are seeking the opportunity to progress their career into a Product Manager role will also be considered.

Product Manager Responsibilities:

Negotiate and implement commercial agreements with overseas suppliers and ensure that the contracts are delivered in a timely manner

Clear communication of contracts and product range to all departments

Brochure production: Working with the team to complete brochure deadlines

Responsible for the content you will ensure that all brochure text complies with the JV style and check the accuracy of the content

Actively seek new product opportunities

To take accountability for revenue growth, quality and gross margin of your portfolio.

Regularly review product to ensure it still fits within the current strategy

Analyse sales on a weekly basis and set plans accordingly

Analyse information from feedback forms (Customers, Tour Manager and Agents) and be pro-active in actioning improvements which will benefit the business and our customers

Product Manager Experience Required:

Previous experience in a Product Manager or Senior Product Executive with knowledge of either Asia, Africa, or Europe

Negotiation of contract or commercial agreements with hotels or other travel related service providers

Knowledge of destinations and travel trends

Proven ability to negotiate significant and successful long-term contracts with suppliers

Can demonstrate achievements in meeting tough deadlines

Product Manager Salary and Benefits:

Competitive base salary circa £35,000
