We have a vacancy for a Senior Regional Manager covering the South region in our HMCTS sectorReporting to the sector Head of Security Operations, you'll manage and support the Area Manager(s) and team, together with the Security Governance, Commercial, HR & Training, and Quality & Performance Manager, taking responsibility for delivering an unrivalled quality security service within the region.You will also support the Head of Security Operations with delivering the overall service requirements and projects, taking a full operational lead within your area of responsibility, exceeding customer expectations and driving customer service.The role will require a constant focus on maintaining high standards within a demanding and fast paced environment.This role is homebased with regular travel across the South-East and South-West of England excl. London Other Responsibilities will include:

  • To support the Head of Security Operations in implementing and embedding the Culture Change programme within their operational team.
  • To take responsibility for managing and controlling staffing costs within their area of responsibility and working with the finance teams to review and mitigate any overspend. Identifying risks and opportunities within required timescales.
  • To apply quality control procedures and maintain high standards within the service delivery to ensure that the records are held and updated as required.
  • To ensure that all quality, performance, and governance processes are imbedded to all site operations and all required documents are up to date and live across all sites.
  • To ensure that all staff within their remit are appropriately trained to undertake their full role and that vacancies are identified and filled in a timely manner site operations at times of staff shortage.
  • To ensure that the work schedules and shift times are correctly resourced, highlighting any gaps and working the relevant operational support teams to mitigate risk.
  • To ensure that their team manage employee related matters effectively, professionally and within a timely manner, tracking cases through to completion with HR colleagues and highlighting any high-risk situations to the Head of Security Operations, and the Contract Director where appropriate.
  • To ensure their team are adequately resourced during holiday periods and that clear procedures are implemented to deal with absence issues and staff shortages.
  • Ensuring the contractual KPI's are met each month, highlighting any risk to the Head of Security Operations in a timely manner, and implementing measures to mitigate and improve service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Significant senior security operational experience.
  • SIA Licence (front line).
  • Membership to appropriate organisations would be desirable.
  • Driving Licence
  • Proven track record of working in a similar fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Extensive experience of Leading and Managing people and teams with evidence of mentoring and developing subordinates, counselling, and coaching as necessary.
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Evidence of delivering exceptional internal and external customer service & satisfaction.
