The SMB Monetization group is seeking a software engineering manager to provide hands-on leadership for a team to help improve our job sponsorship business. We iterate using data driven experiments to grow revenue through improving employer experiences and innovating on the monetization of our products. The team is a front-end heavy full-stack development team building and enhancing user-facing products and systems in our service-oriented, highly scalable, multi-datacenter environment.
As an engineering manager, you will support the engineering team including hiring and growing people, develop team roadmaps, managing projects, provide technical direction, and collaborating with cross functional and cross organizational teams.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent field required
Prior experience leading or managing a high-performing engineering team
Experience in software engineering building complex web or distributed systems
Experience advising your team on architecture and implementation of software problems
Strong ability to coach developers, helping them improve their skills and grow their careers
Strong knowledge of databases
Solid cross function and cross organization communication and people skills
Experience with full stack application development is a plus
Experience with A/B testing is a plus
