Our Client is looking to hire a Support Worker - Ely, Wisbech or March.

They are looking for caring, motivated staff either with or without experience in care to empower and facilitate the service users' independence by recognising the unique nature of each individual's needs. You would support them to participate in activities and opportunities which are agreed to meet a person's outcomes as they support people to reach their goals.

They are recruiting for support workers who share their passion for excellent social care and wish to join a friendly, hardworking and experienced team. Their service supports homes in the towns of Wisbech, Ely and March, providing support to adults with a disability who live in their own homes.

As a Support Worker you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as some IT skills. To have a sensitive and a professional approach in managing your work and an understanding of equal opportunities, diversity and safeguarding. The role will involve administration of medication, and the provision of personal care.

Previous experience is not essential as a comprehensive training programme will be provided.

The post requires you to work various shifts during the week (between 7am and 10pm) and to work two weekends in four as well as selected Bank Holidays as part of a rota for which additional enhancements are paid.

The starting pay for the posts is £10.19 per hour (£15.28 Saturday hours- £18.64 Sunday hours).

They have two posts working 28 hours per week at Larksfield in Wisbech, two posts working 28 hours per week in Ely, and two posts working 30 hours per week at Alder Close in March.

The posts require an enhanced DBS check to be completed
